WV Literacy Listserv

The WV Literacy Listserv was established so that West Virginia adult literacy providers could communicate about issues related to low literacy learners. The goal of the listserv is to provide adult literacy providers an avenue to share information regarding upcoming events, sources of funding, etc. Participants are also encouraged to post questions regarding student issues, new materials, etc.

If you would like to join the lit-vol listserv, you need to send an e-mail to the listserv address: LISTSERV@LISTSERV.WVNET.EDU

Type the following message in the body of the e-mail, with no Subject:

SUBSCRIBE LIT-VOL Firstname Lastname

For example:

SUBSCRIBE LIT-VOL John Doe

Be sure that if your computer puts a signature at the bottom of your messages that you delete that before sending the e-mail.

After you send the e-mail, you will receive a message asking you to confirm your subscription. In order to subscribe to the listserv, you must reply to this message.

After confirming your subscription, you will receive a welcome e-mail explaining how to send messages to the listserv and how to unsubscribe. Save this e-mail for future reference.
